Blackberry vs iPhone – Office Wars

iPhone and Blackberry are the brands that need no introduction. Both iPhone and Blackberry handsets have taken the wide range of audience across the world. These both companies are launching new products time to time and giving tough competition to each other. If we compare any of these company’s devices with the others like Nokia, Sony then most of the times these companies are found to be far ahead than others.But what if we compare these two themselves. Actually people are confused that which out of these is best for them.

Let us compare the two on the basis of Design,OS,look and some other features.

1.Operating System:

iPhone:

This is the most wide area of comparison,because both of the brands use their own operation systems. The latest OS available in Apple’s iPhone is iOS 5.  According to Apple This latest operating system has 200+ new features.The good new features include better notification center and sends the notifications regarding Sms,missed calls directly in the notification center.The one other feature that is good is the integrated twitter app,which enables you to tweet easily.

Blackberry:

The latest operating system that comes from the house of Blackberry is OS 7.1 The good features include in this latest operating system is Mobile Hotspot and one other good feature is Auto Suggest tool which let you stay free and do all the thinking work for you.Other updates features include a better access to Blackberry map,Blackberry Traffic and most importantly the Blackberry Messenger.

Winner:   The winner in the operating system according to user reviews and interest is Blackberry OS 7.1, this might be due to death of great Steve Jobs.

2.Apps:

The one thing which makes gadget really cool and keep people interested in the continuous use of the gadgets is the variety of apps that the gadget can support. The Apple’s iPhone supports wide variety of apps. Actually Blackberry also has the wide variety of apps.But the one available for iPhone is very interesting and with the development of new interesting apps Apple is finding its place in daily technology news.

Winner:   The winner is Apple of course, but it really depends on your use and area of interest, but if we depend upon the user reviews coming from across the world, then Apple wins here.

3.Design:

The mostly Blackberry devices come in QWERTY handsets which the people really love. Blackberry also  has the good range of touchscreen devices as well. iPhone develops Touchscreen handsets and touch response is just Awesome. iPhone type interface is found to be less popular than Blackberry’s type interface.

 Winner:   In terms of design the choice of winner depends on your interest and your taste.

4.Screen Resolution:

Screen Resolution is what enables you to run apps and games. The Blackberry Torch provides you less resolution as compared to Apple’s iPhone 4S. So if you want to run multiple games and apps then you really hate error messages you got whenever you try to play new apps then you should better go for Apple’s iPhone smartphones..

5.Battery:

All the features are useless if there is not good battery backup. Because at last to enjoy all the features, you need power and only good battery backup devices can provide this. The Apple’s iPhone gives you the talk time of about 7.0 hours while Blackberry’s smartphones give you the talk time of about 4.5 to 5.5 hours. So chose Apple if you are a traveler and wants to enjoy music and other stuff for longer time while on the go.
